Overview
The Quapaw Nation Title VI Nutrition Program is a valuable resource for the community, providing delicious weekday congregate meals and homebound meal delivery to federally recognized tribal members 55 years old and older and their spouses. This program aims to ensure that elder members of the community have access to nutritious meals and can maintain their independence and well-being. The meals are prepared by skilled cooks and are designed to meet the dietary needs of older adults, including those with special dietary requirements. The congregate meals are served in a welcoming, sanitized, secure, and social setting, providing older adults with an opportunity to gather with their peers, socialize, and enjoy a tasty meal. The homebound meal delivery service is designed for those who are unable to leave their homes or have difficulty accessing congregate meals, allowing them to receive nutritious meals in the comfort of their own homes. The program is committed to providing high-quality meals and services to members of the community and is dedicated to improving their health and well-being.
