Social Services

Please review the guidelines carefully; changes have been made. All applications must be hand delivered, emailed, or mailed in.

Thank you.
Patti Rice
Social Services Director

This program was formed to assist tribal members with utility assistance, veterans assistance, school and unmet needs, as well as burial\end of life assistance. The guidelines are set forth by the Social Services Committee and are approved by the Business Committee. This funding cycle runs from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2023.

The packet contains programs that are available, how to apply for assistance, and service applications. The Social Services Department follows a first come first serve basis. All services will be offered as long as funding is available. Applications are updated annually.

Any questions can be directed to the Social Services department at 918-542-1853 Monday through Thursday 8 am to 5 pm and Friday 8 am to 4 pm. We honor most federal and tribal holidays.

Each tribal applicant should expect to be treated with respect and care. Tribal members are expected to treat the tribal staff in the same manner. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated or corrective action will be taken.

Form Update Reminder

Please update all forms at the beginning of the new funding cycle. This includes: legal documents for minor children, if living with someone other than tribal parent, address corrections, name changes, landlord/roommate/spouse forms, and leases.

Eligibility Notice

Due to the rapid growth of our tribe, the Business Committee clarified the language of the resolution that took effect January 1, 2012. With the exception of infants, you must be an enrolled Quapaw Nation member on the tribal roll for 12 months to be eligible for Social Services.

If you have any questions, you may call or email the SS Dept.

Once again, as tribal members, it has been our pleasure to offer you these services!
