Annual Election
The Quapaw Tribe Annual Election are held yearly in July at the Quapaw Tribal Complex. The polling place is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on the day of the vote. All registered voters who have met the voting eligibility requirements specified by the Tribal election ordinance will be eligible to vote. A valid registration card and a picture ID must be in each registered voter's possession in order to obtain a ballot.
Declaration of Candidacy
All qualified members of the Quapaw Tribe who desire his or her name to be placed on the ballot as a candidate for elected office must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the election board secretary or a designated representative at the Quapaw Tribal Administrative Office. The office is located at:

No person shall be a candidate for more than one office at any one time. All such filings of the declaration of candidacy must be filed during dates specified by the Election Committee. No later than three business days following the close of the filing period, the election board secretary shall post a complete list of candidates along with their respective office of candidacy at the Tribal Complex.

Filing Fee
A non-refundable filing fee of $50 shall be assessed to each candidate for any elective office, payable to the Quapaw Tribe by certified check, cashiers check, or money order. These fees shall be used for election purposes. The filing fee shall be paid on the same date the prospective candidate submits his or her declaration of candidacy.
